Several Things That I Need Explained To Me

1. One of my bruhs posted on facebook John Legend's response to the NY Post dead chimpanzee/stimulus-bill-writer political cartoon. John took em to task for the shit, and some people expressed their agreement. Then a person says Black people are too sensitive about racial shit, and this is one example (in so many words). As evidence, this individual compared the recent cartoon to older ones that depicted Bill Clinton as a donkey and idiot, wondering why no one got mad about the Clinton cartoons but we're up in arms about this chimp one.

Now of course, this argument is flawed for various reasons. I could list them all but I ain't got time plus it's all already on facebook. Just explain to me with a coherent argument how this chimp shit could possibly be us overreacting.

2. I got back on my myspace game a few days, requesting random folks to get the name out. And one requested chick sends me a message like "How do I know you? Or how do you know me?" It's obvious that I'm a myspace musician, so if you can't recognize me from the million face pictures I got posted online, shouldn't it be obvious that I'm just trynna promote my music to you?


 3. Some cats get on twitter or myspace or facebook or blogger and only wanna promote their business. Little do they know they whole alure of social media for business is that it can create a personal connection between the business and customer, if used correctly. What I find especially funny is q-list cats (eg a couple rappers I see) who can't seem to do anything but promote their website. The only people who get away with doing that are people who are truly famous, cuz they're actually busy. Yo local ass ain't busy nigga!

4. Why isn't this guy signed to Purple Ribbon:

Ill Be In The Sky - B.o.B
Seems like a much better fit than Grand Hustle. Fuck it, it seems like a match made in heaven!
